After two and a half years, Jazz has graduated with her MBA!! For the next few months she will be catching up on sleep and the pile of unread books in the bedroom. Many of our friends have asked whether her MBA was the right decision. We can both say that it definitely was, but that we're glad it's done!
We spent the weekend (June 12-13) with our parents and an old friend from Austin, Texas. Events centered around the graduation ceremony and introducing them to several new restaurants.
We started off with breakfast just South of our neighborhood at M. Henry, an amazing place for breakfast if you're up North. We had two huge dinners at Osteria Via Stato, an elegant family-style Italian restaurant with generous portions, and at Fogo de Chao, a staple of the Brazilian steak house business. We also made a huge German-style breakfast at the apartment the morning of graduation. Fruits, bread, cheeses, pancakes (an American addition), and meats.After graduating, Jazz immediately flew off to Oxford, UK for work. She got back this Friday, and we spent one of our first weekends in 2 1/2 years together not worrying about homework. Aside from the USA loosing against Ghana in the World Cup, it was a great weekend. At least Germany beat the UK!
